Super Speed Reading

10,000 WORDS/MINUTE

In stages, the user is said to increase his or her reading rate up to ten times. Progressing to successive "speed plateaus," users can achieve reading speeds as high as 3,000 words per minute with flash practice reaching 10,000 wpm, the makers say.

Requiring an Apple II, II + or IIe computer, the program contains graphics and provides upper and lower case in regular, medium and bold face. It also keeps user records automatically and displays individual progress charts.

Additional features are 120 pages of on-screen story material and a variety of comprehension exercises. Magnum Software, Chatsworth, CA.
