SLIDE
SHOW MAGICIAN
In our last column, we mentioned an upcoming upgrade of Slide Show Magician.
This excellent program, which lets you make slide-show presentations of
MacPaint documents, has been made even better.
Version -1.3 can use a RAM disk or a hard disk. Functions that previously
were available only on the Edit master screen, such as Copy and Paste, and
Change Frame, cart now be used on any of the master screens. A significant
enhancement is the addition of GoTo buttons. Place one or more of' these buttons
on any screen, and when you dick on it with the mouse, you jump to another
screen or even to another slide show - perfect for training presentations,
quizzes, and other interactive uses. You can now add extra fonts with the

Using a tape-recorder sync cable, your' Mac can control the tape recorder, or
the tape recorder can control your Mac. A third option is digitized sound. It
lets you use voices, music, or sound effects and transfer them, via a special

of your slide-show frames. You can order all the cables from Magnum.
The program has other enhancements too, more than we can mention here. With
