Mouse Mover Review
by Hartley G. Lesser

There are very few products these days that are worthy of incorporation into a sophisticated system. Those products that do fall into this category are certainly not to be found for less than fifty dollars. Thankfully, an exception has arrived on the Macintosh peripheral market. For the meager cost of $19.95, Mouse Mover will grace that Mac I/O device with such alacrity you'll think your mouse has swallowed ion fuel.

Simply explained, Mouse Mover is a cradle for the mouse that eases its operation upon a tabletop, book, whatever might be used as a base for the device. This carriage simply snaps onto the bottom of the mouse and doesn't interfere in any way with the normal use of the I/O device. The producing company claims there are 90 ball bearings in this mouse carriage that now meets the surface of your work area. Where once one might have felt surface resistance in moving the mouse, such need no longer be of concern. Caution, in fact, should be advised as the slightest pressure can cause your mouse to mimic a super hero as it skates across the desk.

The device is so simple that you'll probably be shaking your head as to why you hadn't thought of such an operational peripheral. The control of the mouse is vastly improved and little effort is required to move the mouse in any direction. The carriage is made of plastic and is a definite comrade for your mouse.

Micro Today feels that Mac owners who don't have a Mouse Pad or an optical mouse deserve to indulge the better part of twenty dollars on the Mouse Mover, because it's such a simple, unique and worthwhile addition for one's mouse.
