Both volumes of McPic! provide the desktop publisher with plenty of clip art to choose from. The art is well drawn and interesting, and Magnum software has put a good deal of thought into selecting the graphics included here. The variety of themes, sizes, shapes, perspectives and styles is sure to please. One cannot overestimate the usefulness of a collection of this scope.

Each volume contains about 150 pictures. Volume 1 covers such topics as Animals, Astrology, Business, Fun, Holidays, Miscellaneous (e.g., Message Banner, Checkbook and Stop Sign), Home, Money, Nature,

Eagle People (including "mix and match" heads and bodies), Sports, Symbols and Transportation.

Volume 2 adds some excellent new categories. Included are Animals, Communications, Exotica (e.g., Mount Rushmore, a barber pole and a fancy jukebox), Flags, Food, Maps, Occupations, People Maker, Science, Signs, Special Effects (e.g., pebbles and wood-grain backgrounds), Transportation and Treasures.

Each volume is provided on a single 400K disk. You also receive a 28 page booklet of hints, offering solid tips on how to get the most from your clip art.

Most outstanding feature: Good, crisp artwork and a generous selection from which to choose. .
Least liked feature:None. .
In summary: Both volumes meet the criteria for good value in dip art: Plenty of graphics, well organized and nicely drawn. - Michael A. Levin
